Who we are
Jarapass is a Lagos membership service. For data protection purposes we are the data controller. Contact: hello@jarapass.com.
What we collect
Your name, phone number, email address and the part of Lagos you live in. Once you are a member: the categories you choose, the redemptions you make, and the device your pass is on.
Why we collect it
To run your membership, to pick Your 12, to make the pass work at a counter, and to tell you about Jarapass if you asked us to.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not give a partner business your identity — they see that a member redeemed, not who. We do not hold your money, so there is no financial balance to expose.
How long we keep it
Financial records for seven years, because the law requires it. Messages and fraud signals for 24 months. Your account for as long as you have one, and then we anonymise it.
Your rights
Under the NDPA 2023 you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deletion anonymises your identity; the redemption itself survives because a partner has already honoured it. Email hello@jarapass.com and we respond within 30 days.
Cookies
The site uses no advertising cookies. The app stores your session on your own device. This page will be updated with the full cookie list before launch.
This is a pre-launch notice
Jarapass is not live. This notice will be replaced by the final registered version, with our NDPC registration details and named DPO, before anyone is charged.
