Home / About us

Lagos is expensive.
It does not have to be.

Jarapass exists because the same evening out costs two people different amounts, and the difference is usually who knows somebody.

Our mission

Help Nigerians keep more of their money, even as everything costs more.

Inflation has made everyday life in Nigeria expensive. Our mission is to help Nigerians save money on the things they already do every day, from one business to the next, so the same life costs less.

Our vision

Build Jaragive: verified grants that help Nigerians move forward in life.

Our vision is Jaragive, a platform and, in time, physical centres where young people, children, parents and adults who need financial help can apply for a grant: a laptop, a course, a small business, a medical bill. Every applicant is verified, and every grant is paid directly to what it is for, never as cash in hand, so the money reaches the people who will use it to move forward. We start online and grow into physical locations.

Four things we will not do.

Written down so you can hold us to them.

  • We will not hold your money. No wallet, no balance, no float.
  • We will not sell your data to the businesses. They see that a member came, not who.
  • We will not publish a partner's name next to their exact offer, because that is how the discount stops being worth anything to the people who paid for it.
  • We will not promise a saving the pack cannot produce. Every figure on this site is derived from real Lagos prices and the caps the businesses set.

What jara means here

Jara means extra. On Jarapass, the extra is money: you show your pass at a partner business, you get a member discount, and you pay less. What you don't spend is your jara.

You pay monthly or yearly. While you are a member, a hundred Lagos businesses give you a member discount, three offers at each. No free gifts to collect, no points to count. Just a smaller bill.

Why a membership and not an app full of coupons

Coupon apps die the same way every time. They charge the business for placement, so the only businesses that join are the ones that need it. The offers are thin, the good places are absent, and within a year the app is a list of restaurants nobody wanted to go to.

We took the money from the other side. Members pay; businesses pay nothing, ever. That one decision is why we can sign places that would never pay for a listing, and it is the whole reason the pack is worth having.

Where we are

Lagos, building the pack now. We open in 2027, starting on the Island and the closer parts of the Mainland, because a membership is only worth having if the places are near you.

Lagos costs enough.
Join once and pay less everywhere.

We open in 2027. The waitlist gets first access, the founding price and ₦2,000 for every friend who joins.
